Graduates of the UVic Saxophone Studio have gone on to successful careers in music and have continued studies under master teachers, including Dr. Eugene Rousseau, Jean-Marie Londeix, Dr. Frederick L. Hemke, Debra Richtmeyer and Dr. William Street. Students have successfully competed and won competitions at the University of Victoria, the University of Alberta, North Texas State University, local, regional and national festivals, including the Don Chrysler Competition for Young Musicians sponsored by the Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra.

Among the many competent UVic music education majors, UVic Saxophonists are among the most talented and successful new teachers graduating each year. Alumni currently occupy or have in the past led ensembles at some of the most progressive and well attended music programs in the province of British Columbia, including: Alberni District Secondary School; Central Middle School; and G.W. Graham Middle-Secondary School.
